Not being restricted to just guitar, the GE-7 can be used for vocals and bass, depending the right frequencys are adjusted accordingly. The GE-7 can be used as a rythmn unit, as it has a preamp and level control on it, so if one set their rythmn sound with the GE-7 a little less then their amp distortion and was to play rythmn with the GE-7, when breaking in to do the killer lead, they can have the boost of their amp distortion when switching from unit to amp. Of course you can do this both ways and it is not limited to just leads.
